There's just so much less of a hassle to use a few psi points and nanites on your one ammo stack compared with that whole 'finding and filling beakers with worms' thing. I get that in potentia each little worm pile is infinite ammo since they don't dissapear on use, but since those beakers get consumed when you do there's still a hard limit on how much ammo you can in practice get out of them.īut still, even if I've missed the one replicator that sells worm-clusters, or something, I'll stand by that the whole weapon-type is far more practical togheter with the replication psi. The beakers are insanlly rare, doesn't stack before they are filled with worms, and off the top of my head I can't remember a single replicator that sells more of them directly.
